Colossal gold unicorns, gold metallic corsetry, a gold winged throne — Nicki Minaj‘s performance at MTV‘s 2018 Video Music Awards was fit for the opulent, epic queen she is.
Staging a pre-recorded, satellite performance away from the awards ceremony venue at New York‘s Radio City Music Hall, the R&B monarch performed a medley of bangers within the World Trade Center‘s Oculus.
Donned in a jaw-dropper of a costume, Minaj performed multiple tracks from her brand new album, Queen, including “Barbie Dreams,” “Majesty,” “Ganja Burn,” and “FEFE.”
Minaj also took out the award for Best Hip Hop Video for “Chun-Li,” back at home base. We are not worthy.
