Mahesh, who inaugurated Pratibha Puraskara organized by Mysuru District Ganiga Association at the Town Hall, said that the government is extending facilities to the unprivileged to bring them to the mainstream. “In terms of education and , it has become difficult for them to compete with the major communities. It is necessary that they are given opportunity,” he stated.

Mahesh asked students to focus only on gaining knowledge and concentrate on achieving their goal. He said students should never be imprudent.

Chamaraja MLA L Nagendra said that communities must unite to gain the government’s attention.

Meritorious students of the Ganiga community were felicitated on the occasion.
