Bhuj (LCB) identified the accused as Rana Rabari, a resident of Ghodalkh village of Mandvi taluka in Kutch. Along with Rana, police have also booked Sarang Rabari of Bhuj, who had, too, allegedly used abusive language against Patel in the video. While Rana has been nabbed, Sarang is still at large.

Raju Rabari was murdered earlier this month in Rajpur village of Kadi taluka in Mehsana district. The Maldhari community members launched a state-wide agitation, demanding the arrest of the accused. They stated that Raju Rabari was a Gau Rakshak (cow protector) and that was the reason for which he had been killed

“In the video, both Rana and Sarang have dared Patel to come to Kutch for an election rally for the upcoming general election. The accused later removed the abusive language. The accused wanted to join the agitation by using social media. They work as labourers,” said Bhuj LCB inspector M B Osura.
